Travel with your Austin Symphony around the musical universe as pianist Orion Weiss takes us on a ride around his constellation, known as Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Music transcends all boundaries, and it is shown in the first half with the Piano Quartet in G Minor composed by Brahms. Just as the universe is massive, so are these two pieces. Start 2020 with a big bang!

Still want more? How about playing on some string instruments provided by our friends at Violin’s Etc.? We also have a wonderful pre-concert talk given by Bob Buckalew at 7:10 pm. How about “tweeting” with our musicians and ASO staff? Take a photo in front of our photo wall. Come experience music that is “Larger Than Life!”
